How to Use

We have created a comprehensive guide that details how to use our skin care products. The important thing to keep in mind is that the products are listed in the order they get used.  If you have any additional questions after reading, feel free to check out our FAQ page or contact us directly for help!

The products are listed in the order they get used.

The wait period between each product is 2-3 minutes, unless otherwise noted in the instructions below.

Elderberry Gentle Foaming Cleanser - Wet hands and face. Dispense a small amount into hands working into lather and massage onto skin.  To create more lather, add a little water.  May be used to remove eye makeup.  Rinse off with warm water. Avoid getting directly into eyes.

Cell Renewal Toner – Completely wet a facial pad or cotton ball with water and wring out (this way you won’t waste your toner.) Apply toner to pad and swipe over entire face. Use twice daily.

Exfoliate -  Completely wet a facial pad or cotton ball with water and wring out (this way you won’t waste Exfoliate).  Apply Exfoliate to pad and swipe over entire face. Use at least three times a week. Can be used twice daily.  Avoid getting directly into your eyes.

NCN Eye Fix  Apply on clean skin prior to any other products. Roll applicator around entire eye area; (including eyelids, under-eyes, and crow's feet) then gently pat in with your ring finger. Use twice a day.

GHK-Cu Copper Peptide Amino Complex Apply enough to just cover your face, neck, and décolleté avoiding your entire orbital eye area (can be used on crow's feet).  Less is more! Use once a day only. If you are using All-Trans Retinol (Formula I or Formula II) or any other Retinol including prescription Retin-A, apply your GHK-Cu Copper Peptide in the morning. If you use a topical Vitamin C product, and not a retinol product, apply your Copper Peptide at night and your Vitamin C in the morning.  For best results when using Vitamin C and GHK-Cu Copper Peptide, use your Vitamin C one day and the GHK-Cu the next two days.  Vitamin C (in the form of L-Ascorbic Acid) stays in your skin for 72 hours, so there is no need to use it every day.  If you are using an acid based daily exfoliator that gets left on your skin, for best results, apply the leave-on exfoliator in the morning and your Copper Peptide at night. Our Exfoliate is not an acid-based exfoliator. If you use a retinol product at night, alternate mornings using a leave-on acid one day and GHK-Cu Copper Peptide the next day.

Vitamin C+ Serum   Please note that the shelf life is 3 months.  Shake well. Massage into skin in the morning (avoid eyelids). Can be used once every 3 days as L-Ascorbic Acid works in your skin that long.  Important: If using GHK-Cu Copper Peptide, please refer to those detailed instructions.

All-Trans Retinol Cream 2.0% Formula I   Apply 1-2 pumps nightly, (or every other night if your skin is very sensitive) to face & neck.  Use I'm Covered Physical Sunscreen SPF40 during the day.  Allow it to completely soak in before applying any other product(s) over it. If you are using GHK-Cu Copper Peptide Amino Complex, apply your GHK-Cu Copper Peptide Serum in the morning.

All-Trans Retinol 2.0% Formula II - After cleansing, wait 20 minutes and apply a very thin layer to just cover your skin avoiding mucous membranes.  Do not apply on eyelids.  Use at night only.  Can be used every night, or every other night.  Wait 10-30 minutes and apply a hydrating product over it if needed.  Avoid direct contact with eyes. If you are using GHK-Cu Copper Peptide Amino Complex, apply your GHK-Cu Copper Peptide Serum in the morning. Use I’m Covered Physical Sunscreen SPF40 during the day.

Skin Tight Lifting Elixir  Massage into skin once or twice daily. Use just enough to cover your skin. Can and should be used around your eye area.

Multi-Active Peptide Matrixyl Serum 25%  Apply 1-2 pumps to skin twice daily. Matrixyl is proven to decrease wrinkle depth up to 68% and is very firming. It’s also an incredible eye serum that addresses lines, undereye puffiness, and dark circles.

DNA Serum  Apply once or twice a day over other serums if you wear them and before SPF. Allow to completely soak into skin prior to applying any other product(s) over it. Apply to entire face, neck & decollete including your eye area. Avoid getting directly into your eyes.

Orange Blossom Hydrating Mist  Spritz on skin just prior to applying facial oil or moisturizer.  Spritz throughout the day to keep skin hydrated, glowing and makeup looking dewy fresh.

VOLU-LIFT Recontouring Face Cream With Ceramides  Use once or twice a day. Apply in the morning over all other products and before SPF. At night, apply over serums.

Phyto-Biotics Blueberry & Oat Skin QuenchMassage ½ pump into skin including eye area.   Apply once or twice daily to face, neck, décolletage, and eye area. A little goes a long way!  Apply in the morning before I’m Covered Physical Sunscreen SPF40. At night, apply over other products if you use them. Avoid getting directly into your eyes.

Multi-Active Accelerator (formerly called CP Accelerator)  An anti-aging powerhouse! Apply to entire face, neck, and décolleté – including under your eyes and eyelids. A little goes a long way. Use once or twice daily.

All-In-One Anti-Aging Cream  Massage into skin once or twice daily. Apply to face, eye area (upper and lower lids), neck and décolleté. Use enough to just cover your skin (applying more than that will not make it work better, you’ll just waste it). In the morning, apply before sunscreen. At night, apply over other products (if you wear them). Avoid getting directly into our eyes.

Corrective Facial Oil  Apply 3-4 drops and massage into skin.  Tip: if you spritz your skin with Orange Blossom Hydrating Mist first, the Corrective Face Oil will lock that moisture into your skin!

Physical Sunscreen SPF 40 - I'm Covered - Apply to all exposed areas every morning over all other skin care products and prior to applying makeup. Reapply as needed throughout the day if exposed to direct sunlight.

Use sun protection during the day. Any retinol product makes you more susceptible to sunburn and UV damage. Rain or shine, use your sunscreen!

30% Pro Pumpkin Peel Directions Pumpkin contains antioxidants and enzymes that act like alpha-hydroxy acids. But rather than just exfoliating the skin, pumpkin actually replenishes the skin with over 100 beneficial nutrients which help reverse the signs of aging.  Put that together with glycolic, lactic, salicylic & fruit acids and you have the perfect formula!

Before you begin, a patch test is imperative! Allergic reactions are very rare but can happen. Put a small amount on an inconspicuous part of your face (in front of your ear lobe) and leave on for 3 minutes (less if it is irritated) then rinse with tepid water. The Pro Pumpkin Peel may sting a little, but it should not be uncomfortable. Once you’ve passed the patch-test, proceed to the directions below.

Please note that a patch test is recommended.  Full instructions are included with your order.

  1. Cleanse skin with non-acid cleanser (Elderberry Gentle Foaming Cleanser - SLS Free). Rinse and pat dry.
  2. Apply enough of the 30% Pro Pumpkin Peel to cover your skin without seeing any visible skin through the peel. Apply to entire face avoiding eye area and mucus membranes.  Leave on for 10 minutes.
  3. Rinse with tepid water, pat dry.  Follow with an alcohol-free toner (Cell Renewal Toner) or  as an alternative DIY neutralizer, mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 1 cup of water until the baking soda dissolves.
  4. Follow with a hydrating product (All-In-One Anti-Aging Cream, DNA Serum, Phyto-Biotics Blueberry & Oat Skin Quench, Volu-Lift Recontouring Face Cream, or Multi-Active Accelerator) and always use a mineral sunscreen during the day.  We have I'm Covered Physical Sunscreen SPF40.
