How to remove milia at home

Milia (Milium) – pimples around eye on skin.

Step by step instructions for removing milia by yourself at home:

Milia are stubborn hard little “pimples” that normally pop up between your upper cheek and lower eye area. I’m going to give you step by step instructions on how to remove them as well as how to keep them from coming back.

Step 1: Cleanse your skin using your favorite facial cleanser. Wet a washcloth with the hottest water you can stand, wring it out and hold it against the milia you want to remove.

Step 2: Take a hypodermic needle or a milia lancet and sterilize it with rubbing alcohol. Gently poke the center of the milia. Press the area around it (like you would to extract a blackhead) gently. If the milia is ready to come out, it will. If not, you will want to wait and try again in a couple of days. What you don’t want to do is press hard to try to extract the milia. Patience is key here as to not damage the tissue surrounding the milia.

Step 3: With a skin pad, wipe the area with rubbing alcohol. Follow with GHK-Cu Copper Peptide Amino Complex Formula I or Formula II (depending on which one you use). After 60 minutes, continue with your regular skin care routine. Please refer to our Product Instructions that show the order in which our products are applied. An Esthetician will use the same technique; so I’m hoping you like my DIY method of how to remove milia.
