Our All-Trans Retinol Cream 2.0% is designed for all skin types. It can help firm your skin, decrease lines and wrinkles, even skin tone, soften skin and delay aging. Retinol is also very good for preventing and healing adult acne.

Our powerful over the counter retinol retinol cream formula works hard without the irritation associated with a strong face cream that has a higher concentration of retinol. The retinol in our All-Trans 2% Retinol Cream is encased in liposomes and time released, so it works all night without drying or harshness.

All-trans means that a percent of the stable Retinol, which is a derivative of Vitamin A, actually converts to retinoic acid on the skin.

Retinol cream stimulates collagen type I production. One of the components that makes our retinol stand out from the rest is the addition of Trylagen. Trylagen is an ingredient that also stimulates collagen Types III & IV.  Collagen type III is the “youth collagen." When we’re 4 years-old, over 90% of the collagen in our bodies is Collagen Type III. By age 50, 90% of the collagen in our bodies is Collagen Type I. You can see the importance of Collagen Type III for keeping young looking skin.

Our formula is both paraben free and chemical free and has the highest concentration of OTC all trans Retinol available. We do not test any of our products on animals.

Question: I have very sensitive skin; can I use All-Trans Retinol 2.0%?

Question: What is the shelf life of the All-Trans Retinol 2.0%?
Answer: The shelf life is 2 years. All of our products have a shelf life of 2 years with the exception of the Vitamin C+ Serum, which is 6 months.

Question: Should I use the All-Trans Retinol with or without the Tretinoin?
Answer: Since skin is a living organ, and everyone’s skin is unique, it’s really impossible for me to know which one will work better for you. The All-Trans Retinol with Non-Prescription Tretinoin (Ret with Tret) is more aggressive, and it’s possible that you could get some peeling. If you want to avoid that completely, I’d go with the one without the non-prescription Tretinoin. If you’ve used Retin-A before, and your skin reacted positively to it, I’d go with the Ret with Tret. Although, I couldn’t use prescription Retin-A (it was Renova that I tried years ago) and have no issues with the Ret with Tret formula that I have.
If you’ve never used Retin-A before (or any form of Tretinoin), I recommend starting with the All Trans Retinol without the added Tretinoin. Then you can always move up to the Ret with Tret. You can also alternate them – one night use the one without the Tretinoin, and the next night, use the one with it.

Question: I have professional microdermabrasion done every couple of months. My question is, is it okay to use my All-Trans Retinol 2.0% right before and/or after the microdermabrasion treatment?
Answer: You want to wait at least 48 hours before you have your microdermabrasion treatment and 48 hours after when using All-Trans Retinol 2.0%. This applies to both professional microdermabrasion treatments, as well as at home microdermabrasion devices.

Question: Can I use your All-Trans Retinol during the day too? I’d like to use it twice a day.
Answer: You need to use the All-Trans Retinol at night only. A lot of people think it needs to be used at night only because if you use it during the day, you will be more prone to UV damage. That is only partly true. Using Retinol makes your skin more prone to UV damage whether you use it at night or during the day. That’s one of the reasons it’s so important to use sun protection every day – rain or shine. But the real reason you need to use All-Trans Retinol at night only (or any retinol product) is because the ingredient itself is sensitive to sunlight. Retinol degrades (loses its effectiveness) when exposed to light and air. Retinol should only be purchased when in a UV protectant pump bottle that has a cap or tube to preserve it. Storing it in a dark, cool place like your medicine cabinet is recommended as well.

Question:Why doesn’t your All-Trans Retinol 2.0% sting my skin if it’s really 2.0%?
Answer: It doesn’t sting because the stable retinol is encapsulated in liposomes and time released. So instead of getting it in one big shot, it works hard all through the night

Question: Can I apply other products over the All-trans Retinol 2.0%?
Answer: Yes, if your skin needs added hydration, or you want to plump your skin more, you can apply one or more of the following products over the All-Trans Retinol 2.0%: DNA Serum, EGF Serum Capsule, Corrective Face Oil Cocktail, Multi-Active Accelerator or Volu-Lift. or Volu-Lift.
