How to Use
We have created a comprehensive guide that details how to use our skin care products. Please read below for instructions. If you have any additional questions after reading, feel free to check out our FAQ page or contact us directly for help!
Product instructions and the order in which to use them:
Every order comes with an instructional brochure.
As a rule of thumb, products get applied in the following sequence:
Apply enough product to just cover your skin unless otherwise noted. Always let a product soak into your skin completely before applying another product over it.
- Creams (unless they are film forming, then oils go on first)
Another rule of thumb: Products get applied from thin to thick. The thinnest product goes on first; the thickest product goes on last.
THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS LIST THE PRODUCTS IN THE ORDER IN WHICH THEY'RE TO BE USED.
Note: Most individual product pages have very detailed instructions outlining product application.
The wait period between each product is 2-3 minutes, unless otherwise noted in the instructions below.
Microfiber Cleansing Cloth – If you have makeup on, I suggest cleansing your skin first, then rinse, and while skin is still wet, wet the cloth and wring out. Cleanse in circular motions without rubbing too hard. Hand wash the cloth with soap and water then hang to dry. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Once a week boil your cloth for at least two minutes. It can be put in the washing machine and dryer. For best results, replace your cloth every 4-6 months. Use at least 3 times a week.
Rinsable Cleansing Oil - Use alone (normal/dry) or as the first step in your deep cleansing process (oily/acne). Wash and dry hands. Shake well. Apply to skin and cleanse in a circular motion. Rinse with tepid water and pat dry. For oily/acne skin types, after rinsing it off, follow with your favorite NCN cleanser. Avoid getting directly into your eyes.
Rhassoul Cleansing Bar – With clean hands, wet skin then get a good lather going with our world famous Rhassoul Cleansing Bar. Cleanse in circular motions and rinse well.
Multi-Acid Cleansing Gel – Wash hands. With wet hands, put a nickel sized amount in your palm, rub hands together and apply to face avoiding eyes. Cleanse in circular motions for up to 30 seconds. Wet hands again and cleanse for another 10 seconds. Rinse with tepid water. Use twice daily.
Cell Renewal Toner – Completely wet a facial pad or cotton ball with water and wring out (this way you won’t waste your toner.) Apply toner to pad and swipe over entire face. Use twice daily.
NCN Eye Fix – Apply on clean skin prior to any other products. Roll applicator around entire eye area; (including eyelids, under-eyes, and crow's feet) then gently pat in with your ring finger. Use twice a day.
GHK-Cu Copper Peptide Serum With EGF – Apply enough to just cover your face, neck, and décolleté avoiding your eye area (can be used on crow's feet). Less is more! Use once a day only. Please note: Taking 1,000 mg. of Vitamin C and 1,000 mg. of MSM are going to increase the effectiveness of the Copper Peptide tremendously for firming the skin. If you are using prescription Retin-A, apply your GHK-Cu Copper Peptide in the morning. If you are using All-Trans Retinol, apply your GHK-Cu Copper Peptide with EGF first, then All-Trans Retinol over it. If you are using GHK-Cu Copper Peptide Serum and the All-Trans Retinol with Tretinoin, use your GHK-Cu CP Serum during the day instead of night. Our GHK-Cu Copper Peptide Serum works fine with zinc oxide products.
If you use a topical Vitamin C product, apply your Copper Peptide at night and your Vitamin C in the morning. You can also use them together, but there needs to be a wait period between applications. Apply one (either one), then wait at least 15 minutes and apply the other over it. If you are using an acid based daily exfoliator that gets left on your skin, apply the leave-on exfoliator in the morning and your Copper Peptide at night. Again, you can also use them together, but there needs to be a wait period between applications. Apply the GHK-Cu Copper Peptide with EGF first, then wait at least 15 minutes and apply the Vitamin C+ Serum over it.
Acne Solutions Toner with Ac.net™ – Shake well. Completely wet a facial pad or cotton ball with water and wring out (this way you won’t waste your toner.) Apply toner to pad and swipe over entire face. Use twice daily. Follow with Acne Solutions Serum with Ac.net™.
Calm Rosacea Serum – Shake well. Apply to entire face avoiding eye area. Use twice a day.
Vitamin C+ Serum – Shake well. Massage into skin in the morning. Allow to dry completely before applying any other products. Avoid getting into your eyes. If you use GHK-Cu Copper Peptide (TriPeptide) Serum, use your Vitamin C+ Serum in the morning and your GHK-Cu Copper Peptide at night. You can also alternate them instead if you want to (use GHK-Cu Copper Peptide one day and your Vitamin C+ Serum the next day). If you use All-Trans Retinol with Non-Prescription Tretinoin (Ret with Tret) AND GHK-Cu Copper Peptide, use your GHK-Cu Copper Peptide in the morning and your Vitamin C+ Serum at night on clean skin. Wait 20-30 minutes and apply your Ret with Tret. Or alternate them (use GHK-Cu Copper Peptide one day and your Vitamin C+ Serum the next day).
Acne Solutions Serum with Ac.net™ – Apply to entire face avoiding eye area over Acne Solutions Toner twice a day.
Skin Tight Lifting Elixir – Massage into skin once or twice daily. Use just enough to cover your skin. Can and should be used around your eye area.
All-Trans Retinol Cream 2.0% – Apply nightly to face & neck over serums (if you use them). Can and should be used around your eye area (including eyelids). Additional moisturizer or night cream may be used over the retinol. Use SPF protection during the day.
Multi-Active Peptide Matrixyl Serum 25% – Apply 1-2 pumps to skin twice daily. Matrixyl is proven to decrease wrinkle depth up to 68% and is very firming. It’s also an incredible eye serum that addresses lines, undereye puffiness, and dark circles.
DNA Serum – Apply once or twice a day over other serums if you wear them and before SPF. Allow to completely soak into skin prior to applying any other product(s) over it. Apply to entire face, neck & decollete including your eye area. Avoid getting directly into your eyes.
Orange Blossom Hydrating Mist – Spritz on skin just prior to applying facial oil or moisturizer. Spritz throughout the day to keep skin hydrated, glowing and makeup looking dewy fresh.
Corrective Facial Oils – Keep refrigerated unless you're going to use it before 12 months. Apply 3-4 drops and massage into skin. During the day, apply it, wait at least 5 minutes before applying anything else over it.
VOLU-LIFT Recontouring Face Cream With Ceramides – Use once or twice a day. Apply in the morning over all other products and before SPF. At night, apply over serums.
Multi-Active Accelerator (formerly called CP Accelerator) – An anti-aging powerhouse! Apply to entire face, neck, and décolleté – including under your eyes and eyelids. A little goes a long way. Use once or twice daily.
All-In-One Anti-Aging Cream – Massage into skin once or twice daily. Apply to face, eye area (upper and lower lids), neck and décolleté. Use enough to just cover your skin (applying more than that will not make it work better, you’ll just waste it). In the morning, apply before sunscreen. At night, apply over other products (if you wear them). Avoid getting directly into our eyes.
Physical Sunscreen SPF 32- I'm Covered - Apply to all exposed areas every morning over all other skin care products and prior to applying makeup. Reapply as needed throughout the day if exposed to direct sunlight.
ALL-TRANS RETINOL with NON-PRESCRIPTION TRETINOIN – Use at night only and follow these instructions:
Cleanse skin with a mild, acid-free cleanser (Rhassoul Cleansing Bar) and dry thoroughly. Wait 20-30 minutes and apply a thin layer to your skin at night only. Use just enough to lightly cover your skin avoiding mucus membranes (keep away from mouth, nostrils, and do not get into eyes). Do apply it under your eye area but not on your eyelids. All-Trans Retinol with with Non-Prescription Strength Tretinoin can also be used on your neck & décolleté. Optional (highly recommended): Wait an additional 10-30 minutes and apply a great hydrating product over it like the All-In-One Anti-Aging Cream, DNA Serum, Volu-Lift Recontouring Face Cream with Ceramides, an EGF Serum Capsule, Multi-Active Accelerator, the right Corrective Face Oil Cocktail for your skin type, or any other good hydrating product over it.
Serums can also be used over the All-Trans Retinol with with Non-Prescription Strength Tretinoin. After you apply the All-Trans Retinol with with Non-Prescription Strength Tretinoin, wait 10-30 minutes and apply your serum(s). Apply them in the order in which the products are listed below.
If you are using GHK-Cu Copper Peptide Serum and the All-Trans Retinol with Tretinoin, - use your GHK-Cu CP Serum during the day instead of night. Do not worry about using the GHK-Cu Copper Peptide Serum with a product that has zinc oxide in it. Our GHK-Cu Copper Peptide Serum works fine with zinc oxide products.
Use sun protection during the day. Any retinol product makes you more susceptible to sunburn and UV damage. Rain or shine, use your sunscreen!
Should you experience any flaking, the Microfiber Cleansing Cloth works best and can be used in the morning (gently!) up to three times a week to remove any flaking.
Since this is non-prescription strength, you can use it every night. However, should you experience any flaking at all; you can cut down to using it every other night or even every third night. Then you can slowly increase to every night over a month or two as your skin adjusts.
Products can be used over the All-Trans Retinol 2.0% with Non-Prescription Tretinoin. Wait at least 20 minutes before applying any of the products over it.
30% Pro Pumpkin Peel Directions – Pumpkin contains antioxidants and enzymes that act like alpha-hydroxy acids. But rather than just exfoliating the skin, pumpkin actually replenishes the skin with over 100 beneficial nutrients which help reverse the signs of aging. Put that together with glycolic, lactic, salicylic & fruit acids and you have the perfect formula!
Before you begin, a patch test is imperative! Allergic reactions are very rare but can happen. Put a small amount on an inconspicuous part of your face (in front of your ear lobe) and leave on for 3 minutes (less if it is irritated) then rinse with tepid water. The Pro Pumpkin Peel may sting a little, but it should not be uncomfortable. Once you’ve passed the patch-test, proceed to the directions below.
- Cleanse skin with non-acid cleanser. Rinse and pat dry.
- Swipe Pumpkin Peel Neutralizer over skin with a cotton ball or cosmetic pad, and allow to dry prior to applying the 30% Pro Pumpkin Peel.
- Apply enough of the 30% Pro Pumpkin Peel to cover your skin without seeing any visible skin through the peel. Apply to entire face avoiding eye area and mucus membranes.
- For your first treatment, leave on the skin for only 3 minutes, then rinse with tepid water. Each time thereafter, leave on for an additional minute until you have worked up to a total of 10 minutes.
- Follow with Pumpkin Peel Neutralizer (best) or Cell Renewal Toner (or your favorite alcohol-free toner). Then apply a hydrating product (like our All-In-One Anti-Aging Cream, DNA Serum, Volu-Lift Recontouring Face Cream, or Multi-Active Accelerator) and then sun protection (during the day).
- Stay out of direct sun after use.
- The daily use of a sunscreen is highly recommended.
- Caution: WAIT 24 HOURS BEFORE OR AFTER USE OF OUR MICROFIBER CLEANSING CLOTH OR ANY OTHER EXFOLIATING PRODUCT, INCLUDING TRETINOIN TO USE THE PEEL. For adult use only. For external use only.
- Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes.
Avoid using the Pro Pumpkin Peel if any of the following apply to you:
- Have or will have constant exposure to the sun
- Recent cosmetic surgery or medical procedures
- Taking an antibiotic known to cause sun sensitivity
- Pregnant or planning to become pregnant
- Extreme skin conditions such as rosacea or open lesions
