My Personal Anti-Aging Daily Skin Care Routine

My Personal Anti-Aging Daily Skin Care Routine

Hello my fellow anti-aging skin care devotees!

I haven’t posted my personal daily skin care routine in ages, so it’s definitely time to do so. I’ve really shortened it up – I do switch it up now and then, but this is my current routine and has been for the summer (you can click on any product to see it on the website):

Step 1: Cleanse with the Microfiber Cleansing Cloth only.

I don’t use a cleanser in the morning, the microfiber cleanses so well, I don’t feel the need for an additional cleanser. It really makes your anti-aging products penetrate better, and in turn they will work their hardest for you.  Your pores will stay cleaned out like never before, which will keep them from enlarging.  Keeping our skin exfoliated in this way encourages new cells to produce at a rate they did when we were in our 20’s.  It also stimulates collagen production and keeps your skin as smooth as silk.  I wash my hands, wet the microfiber in hot water, wring it out and press it against my entire face giving myself a mini facial steaming. Then I gently exfoliate my entire face and neck with it. I just swipe it across my eye area.

Step 2: Next I apply my Vitamin C+ Serum with Vit. E, Ferulic Acid and Glutathione.

I feel that everyone should use a good Vitamin C Serum.  This is great for firming, evening skin tone, fading and preventing age spots, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, stimulating collagen types I & III, diminishing wrinkles, and is a very strong anti-oxidant.  It also works in conjunction with I’m Covered Physical Sunscreen SPF32 because it boosts the effects of it.  Allow it to soak in for 2 minutes

Step 3:  Apply I’m Covered Physical Sunscreen SPF 32.  Sunscreen delays aging!  This anti-aging formula is for all skin types, and has an active in it (Mulberry Root Extract) that fades existing hyperpigmentation, age spots and marks left by acne while preventing new spots from forming.  It also contains Alpha Bisabolol, which is a natural anti-inflammatory that helps to firm skin.  It’s healing and inhibits the enzymes in skin that can break down collagen, and at the same time, stimulate collagen production.  It’s not greasy at all, and helps to prevent acne.  It won’t leave a trace of white on your skin.  It glides on your skin and protects it from UVA/UVB damage.  Not just for sunny days, it should be used every morning over all other products, and before your makeup if you wear it.  UV rays go through glass, computer screens and some overhead lighting, so that’s why it’s so important to use it every day.  For best results, let it soak in for 5 minutes before applying makeup.

Step 1:  Cleanse with Multi-Acid Cleansing Gel

This is a gentle cleanser that will reaches deep into pores to cleanse skin and dissolve dead skin cells without drying out your skin at all.  Not only does it clean your skin beautifully, it resurfaces your pores, increasing cell turnover to help diminish the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and other signs of aging.

Step 2:  I apply GHK-Cu Copper Peptide Amino Complex Formula II).  GHK-Cu is a wonderful antioxidant that firms, and it really helps with wrinkles, collagen and elastin production, it evens skin tone, thickens skin, inhibits UV radiation, and is a powerful anti-inflammatory.  GHK-Cu is very calming and healing, I love it!  GHK-Cu works from the outside in by replacing damaged skin with fresh, new cells. It has a very long list of benefits!   My personal favorite thing about it is how well it firms and tightens skin.  Let it soak in for at least 2 minutes (I wait 10 minutes).

Step 3:  Apply All-Trans Retinol 2.0% Formula I.

Another must have for anti-aging.  I think everyone should use a good retinol product.  Proven stable, our All-Trans Retinol 2.0% is time released, so it works for you throughout the night instead of just one big hit.  Our formula is for all skin types; it’s in an organic base and paraben free.  This is another product that helps fade hyperpigmentation.  It firms and lifts skin, decreases lines and wrinkles and stimulates collagen/elastin production.  A good retinol formula will keep pores unclogged, making them appear smaller.  One of the things that makes our formula unique is that it has an active in it (Trylagen) that stimulates collagen type III, (the “youth collagen”) which is needed for firming skin.

I’ll post my skin care routine when it changes once the cold weather sets in, and the heat is on!

Thank you!  Nanci
