I emailed the manufacturer of the Vaculifter looking for a tip on what to do if your Vaculifter suddenly loses suction. They suggested the following:
“Sometimes the tube from the cup to the ball can get blocked by face or body oil, etc.
The only way to try to get it clean is to take a bowl of warm water, put a little bit of dish detergent in it, put the cup of the vaculifter under water and start pumping the ball until the ball is filled with water.
After this procedure take it out of the bowl and “pump” it dry – meaning get all the water out of the rubber ball.
Then leave it for 24 hours to get it dry completely.”
