I received an email from a wonderful client (thank you Shirley!) who was having a difficult time getting the EGF Serum out of their capsules. If you live in a dry climate, you may be having the same issue! Shirley gave me the fix – here it is:
“Hello, Nanci ~ I’m just writing to fill you in on how I “solved” the problem of the EGF capsules that got so hard I had to use pliers to get the serum out of them :^)
Seems it’s the humidity, or lack thereof. Since the capsules hardened up a few days after the opening of the jar, I knew it had to be something here in Colorado, not there in Connecticut.
Indeed, it is the lack of humidity. I sprinkled a little water on the lid, shook the jar, and next day all was well. I continue to add moisture, and sure enough, all continues to be well!
I received another great tip from another wonderful client, Wilma (can you tell that I love my clients)… Wilma wets a piece of cotton (a cotton ball or a cotton cosmetic wipe), wrings it out and keeps it in the EGF Serum Capsules container. Thank you Wilma!
Thus, it appears that in normal climes, e.g. most of the US, the little moisture absorbing pack attached to the inside of the lid is useful; here in Colorado it is death to those cute little capsules.
This is just FYI, in case someone from the arid west writes to you with the same problems of hard capsules – you will have a reply for them.”
THANK YOU SHIRLEY! As the cold weather sets in and the heat is on, I may have to do that myself!
